As a kid, I thought that headaches were a normal part of life. It was not odd for myself or one of my siblings to be found lying on the bathroom floor, eating pain medicine like candy, or throwing up to release the tension in our heads. As I got older, I realized I was prone to migraine headaches and I wanted off the roller coaster ride. Once I had graduated to taking actual ‘migraine’ pain relievers, I knew something had to change.
In a previous life, working at a desk 40-hours a week, I got stress headaches frequently. My neck and back were stiff, I had stabbing pains in my head and it was often difficult to concentrate, let alone program websites and train others to do the same. Even though I often withdrew from civilization, locking myself in dark and silent rooms, I couldn’t sleep. Over time, I learned some natural tips and tricks to alleviate my own headaches.
